Guided trip out to sea

May 13, 12 boats took a wonderful trip out to Givær, this is about 1 hour drive by boat outside Saltstraumen.

Well ahead, almost all boats get fish right away.

In the guided boat we contacted halibut after 20 minutes, this one of 17 kg

5 minutes after we also get a small halibut of 3 kg

1 hour later we lose a big halibut when it goes out with line.

After 2 hours cod fishing takes place

Cod fishing was slow but quickly recovered. Many of 10-12 kg were taken.

We found out that the shad Saltstraumen Spesial was the shad they wanted 

Briefly summed up a happy trip with many happy guests.
